Richard Paul Russell

Richard Paul "Rick" Russell, age 66, of Randleman died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Russell was born July 23, 1949 the son of Charles Lee and Ella Dean Heath Russell. Rick was a graduate of Randleman High School in 1967 and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He grew up attending New Salem United Methodist Church and currently attended Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. Rick was employed at Klaussner Furniture Industries and Crooked Tree Golf Club. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Pamela Earnhardt Russell; and one son: Jeremy Russell of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends Friday, February 26, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman, NC 27317. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Russell family.
