Richard John Poupore, age 80, of Franklinville died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Poupore was a native of Kingsford, MI. and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean war .Richard was retired from Rampon Products and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife: Fawnie Burrow Poupore of the home; daughter: Melanie Wicker and her husband Jerry of Randleman; sons: David Poupore and his wife Summer of Franklinville, Mark Poupore of Franklinville, John Poupore and his wife Cindy of Randleman, Paul Poupore and his wife Sarah of Randleman; grandchildren: Gabriel, Megan, John, Olivia, Gavin, Alec, Kora, Daphne and Taylor; great grandchildren, Aiden and Mason; brothers: Glen, Harold, Michael, Raymond and Joe Poupore all of Powers, MI.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 14, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 3:00 pm at St Joseph Catholic Church, 512 W. Wainman Av., Asheboro with Father Phillip Kollithanath officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.
