Richard Nixon

James Richard Nixon, age 77, of Asheboro died Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington. Mr. Nixon was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Nixon, infant son, Curtis Lee Nixon and ex-wife, Joyce Kirkman. He is survived by his sons, Dale Nixon and Doug Nixon both of Franklinville; daughters, Diane Craven of Randleman, Donna Langley of Liberty; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:30 pm at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
