Richard Lee Lamonds

Richard “Ricky” Lee Lamonds, Sr., age 78 of Star, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Autumn Care in Biscoe.

Ricky was born on November 30, 1945 in Troy N.C. to William Whittaker and Laura Reynolds. Ricky worked with Myrick Construction, Troy Lumber, and also at H & H Furniture in Seagrove. Ricky loved life and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and going camping. Rickey is preceded in death by his parents, William and Laura.

Ricky is survived by his children, Richard Lamonds, Jr. (Glenda) of Star, Timothy Lamonds of Star, Laura Byrd (Eddie Belcher) of Star, Joe Talbert of Star, William Lamonds (Connie) of Aquadale, and Donald Lamonds (Holly) of Denton; 6 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

No service is planned at this time.
