Richard Carl Allred

Richard Carl Allred, age 93, of Randleman died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Allred was born August 11, 1927 the son of Carl and Bertha Gray Allred. Richard was a native of Randolph County and served in the US Navy. He graduated from Randleman High School and retired from J.P Stevens. He enjoyed traveling and reading. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother Earl Allred, sister, Louise Presnell and brother, Bernard Allred. He is survived by his nieces: Jackie Richardson and Jan Hunt both of Asheboro, Gail Cotner of Randleman and Cathy Marriner (Tim) of Morehead City. Several great nieces and nephews and caregiver, Joe Kling. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. A private burial will be held later. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of The Piedmont, Inc., 1803 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Allred family.
