Richard Lee Allred

Richard Lee “Bud” Allred, age 81, of Randleman passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital In High Point. Mr. Allred was born January 22, 1940 the son of Cecil and Viola Workman Allred. Richard worked all his life in the furniture industry and retired from Klaussner Furniture. He enjoyed traveling to the beach with his family, country music and dancing. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Myrtle McNeill Allred of the home; daughter: Carolyn Garner and husband Larry of Asheboro; sons: Richard Allred, Jr. of Asheboro, Arnold Lee Allred of High Point, and Harvey Allred and wife Susan of The Villages, FL.; grandchildren: Crystal Allred, Lisa McNeill and husband Justin, Christian Allred, Amanda Rutledge and husband Timothy and Ashley Allred; 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Meadowbrook Church Of Christ, Asheboro with Rev. Randall Burton officiating.
