Rev. Rex Pollard

Rev. Joseph Rex Pollard, age 72, of Randleman died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. He was native of Rocky Mount the son of joseph and Lily Pollard and served in the US Air Force. Rex graduated from Piedmont Bible College in 1984 and has served Friendship Baptist Church of Level Cross for 32 years. Rex was a good and faithful servant to God and his family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Shirley Ann Smith Pollard; sons: Dean Pollard and his wife Dianna of Asheboro and their children: Tyler, Rachel and her husband Taylor and Holly; Mike Pollard and his wife Tonya of Asheboro and their children: Lily and Adalyn. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church, 9696 US 220 Bus. North, Randleman with Jason Albright officiating.
