Rev. David Wayne Riffe

David Wayne Riffe, age 62, of Asheboro died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Mr. Riffe was born March 28, 1953 in Iaeger, W VA the son of Doyle Adren and Daisy Roberts Riffe. Mr. Riffe lived most of his life in Randolph County and was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church of Asheboro. In addition to his parents David is preceded in death by grandson, Joseph Harris and sister, Sandra Cline. He is survived by his wife: Wilma Jean Riffe; daughters: Angela Harris and husband Bim of Asheboro and Regina Snyder and husband Richie of Thomasville; son: David Wayne Riffe, II and girlfriend Kim Staley of Seagrove; grandchildren: Jesse Harris and wife Katti, Emily Joy Harris, Benjamin Harris and Hunter Harris all of Asheboro; William Snyder of Thomasville, Taylor Lambeth and husband Adam of Colorado Springs, CO, Dylan Wayne Riffe, Riley Staley and Camden Riffe all of Seagrove; sister: Bonnie Blankenship and husband Leroy of Paynesville, W VA; sister-in-law; Sue Addair of Walburg; brother-in-law; Ricky Hicks and wife Ruby of Jolo, W VA. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro with Rev. David Hunt and Charles Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Fellowship Church Cemetery, 8121 New Hope Road in Denton.
