Reiner Karl Weiss, age 59, of Franklinville passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 his home.
Mr. Weiss was born in Germany, formerly lived in Killeen, Texas and moved to Randolph County in 1986. Karl served his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 1/2 years. He was a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Lexington. Karl was an excellent commercial painter.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Thompson Weiss of the home; mother, Ilse Olier of Killeen, TX; step sons, Frankie Lee York of Liberty, Everett Wade York of Franklinville; grandson, Kyle Wade Jordan of Greensboro; granddaughters, Hannah Pullum of the home, Krystal Ledford of Asheboro, Michele Sechrist of Thomasville; great grandchildren, Layla Ledford of Asheboro, Olivia Jordan of Greensboro, Dakota Troutman of Thomasville, Liam Jordan of Greensboro; nephew and Godson, Tyler Olier of Killeen, TX; sister, Irene Olier of Dallas, TX; brothers, Marvin Olier and wife Sharon of Killeen, TX and Michael Olier and wife Sherry of Dallas, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Kenneth Marshburn officiating.
