Reima Robinson Simmons, age 90, died Monday, July 27, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Pete Kunkle officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park, Inc. in St. Petersburg, FL.Mrs. Simmons was a native of Bladen County, NC and was retired from Sampson County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of North East Park Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, FL and was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Simmons and one great grandchild.She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Faircloth and her husband Roger of Lexington, NC; sons, Robert Simmons and his wife Sandra of Pittsboro, NC, Allen Simmons and his wife Pat of Lexington, NC; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Saturday immediately following the funeral service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
