Reid Moriarity

Kenneth Reid Moriarity, age 50, of 325 Walnut Street, Franklinville died Thursday, February 18, 2010 in New Albany, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, 505 S. Park St., Asheboro with Pastor O. Ralph Kraft, Jr. officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Amy Micka in Asheboro. Mr. Moriarity was a native of Hickory, an Army veteran and was employed with Beacon Transport. He was a member of the Concerned Bikers Association and enjoyed talking on his CB radio. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Eugene Moriarity. Mr. Moriarity was a beloved father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Marsha McCracken Moriarity; daughter, Laura Hathaway and her husband Robert of Graham; mother, Gipsy Clontz of Asheboro; sisters, Amy Micka of Asheboro, Shelia Parnell of Burlington.
