Reggie Altus Cole

Reggie Altus Cole, age 88, of Spero Road, Randleman died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.The funeral will be Friday, September 25, 2009 at 4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hugh Spaulding officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.Mr. Cole was a native of Randolph County, a member of South Plainfield Friends Meeting and was retired from Acme-McCrary. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Ethel Auman Cole, brother, Paul Cole, and sisters, Clacie King and Hazel Adams.He is survived by his wife, Mina Inez Allred Cole; son, Kenneth Ray Cole and his wife Connie of Randleman; sisters, Avis Cox of Ramseur, Coleen Counts of Seagrove, Imogene Kiser of Seagrove, Wilma Jones of Franklinville, Edna Hayes of Asheboro, Rachel Gatlin of Seagrove.The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
