Rebecca Alice Britt Dunn

Rebecca Alice Britt Dunn, age 74, of Ramseur passed away on November 3, 2021.  Rebecca fought a long and courageous battle to remain with her family, who was her life's purpose.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Montgomery County on October 28, 1947 to Jack and Mozelle Kern Britt and was a graduate of East Montgomery High School.  Rebecca was a praying woman who loved her family and her last words to them were “in everything you do, put Jesus first.”  In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by brother, Jackie Britt, and her son-in-law, Greg Langley.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Cecil Dunn; daughters, Stephanie Dunn Langley of Staley and children, Gavin (Valerie) and Shanna (Nathan), Sonya Dunn Hall (Ricky) of Seagrove and children, Nathan (Kesha), Nashton (Amber), and Nabecca; Stacie Dunn Shaw (Frankie) of Robbins and children, Kolbie (Savannah), Adin, and Trace; great grandchildren, Presley and Gentry Langley and Jemma Hall; brothers, Tom Britt (Peggy) and Joe Britt; and sister Deborah Wansley (Jimmy).

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 12:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro and at other times at Rebecca’s home, 4415 Timber Lea Lane in Ramseur.  Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Wansley and Pastor Deborah Garner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Siler City.
