Rayvon Harrison Atkins

Rayvon H. Atkins, age 75, of 602 Aileen Avenue, Biscoe, formerly of Wadeville, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Baaseiah Rest Home, Biscoe. Mr. Atkins was a native of Montgomery County and member of Troy Wesleyan Church. He was a retired employee of Collins & Aikman Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Deberry Atkins. He is survived by one daughter: Donna A. Beverly and husband, Tom of Asheboro; grandson: Joshua Beverly of Asheboro; one sister: Shirley H. Russell and husband, Terry of Troy. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Donna and Tom Beverly, 4460 NC Hwy 134, Asheboro. A graveside service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Wadeville Baptist Church Cemetery, 144 Shoe Factory Rd, Mt. Gilead with Rev. James Brewer and Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating.
