Raymond Joseph Padrock

Raymond Joseph "Ray" Padrock, age 70, of 1308 Old Cox Road, Apt 20 South, Cross Road Retirement Community, Asheboro died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Doctor's Hospital, Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Ottinger and Father Christopher Davis officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Padrock was a native of St. Louis, MO and was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army after 23 years of service, having served two tours of duty during the Vietnam Era. Ray attended New Hope United Methodist Church in Seagrove. He is survived by his wife, Betty Frances Trotter Padrock, sons, Michael Wayne Padrock of Detroit, MI, Raymond William Padrock of Wixom, MI; daughter, Katherine Marie Kenny of Virginia Beach, VA; step son, Wesley McMasters of Ramseur, NC; step daughter, Vickie Smith of Ramseur, NC; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Immediately following the funeral service the family will receive friends at the home of Rhonda and Jerry Millikan, 2010 Gold Hill Rd., Asheboro, NC.
