Raymond Mercado Gonzalez, age 73, of 2152 Golda Ave., Asheboro died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. No funeral services will be held. Mr. Gonzalez was a native of Puerto Rico and was retired as a chef with Hilton Hotels. He is survived by his wife, Georgetta Gonzalez, daughter, Rose Tucker of the home; sons, Robert Gonzalez and Raymond Gonzalez, Jr. both of Asheboro, and Roger Gonzalez of Florida; 2 grandchildren; 1 sister and 1 brother.
