Raymond Earnest Garner

Raymond Earnest Garner, age 76 of Randleman died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Garner was born November 4, 1942, the son of Frank Earnest Garner and Eva Hussey Garner. Raymond was a native of Moore County and retired from Murrows Transfer Company with more than 50 years of service. Raymond enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Eva Garner; sisters: Betty Garner, Evon Seawell and Jewelene Hussey.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Doris Wilson Garner; children and their spouse's: Deanna (Michael) Murray of Asheboro, Tommy (Angela) Garner of Randleman and Sherry (Denny) Farmer of Randleman; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister: Joyce (Ronnie) Caviness; brother in law: Eugene Hussey.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 12:00 – 1:45 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC 27317. The Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darcy Abbott and Rev. Johnny Lord officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
