Rayborn Hall

Rayborn Hall passed from this life on Thursday, August 8, 2013. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and first wife, Elizabeth Reddish Hall. In his 100 years, he served as an ambassador of Christ to family, friends, bus children, and prisoners whose lives are richer for having known him. He is survived by his wife, Allene; two sons, Bobby and his wife, Betty Jane Hall of Troy, Tim and his wife, Dr. Karen Hall of China; three daughters, Carol Jones, widow of Rev. Norman Jones of Newport, TN, Sue and her husband, Jimmy Routh of Sophia, and Sandra and her husband, Rolfe Phillips of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren. A celebration of his life, led by Senior Pastor Boyd Byerly, will be at Sunset Avenue Church of God, 900 Sunset Ave., Asheboro at 2:00 PM Saturday. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Sunset Avenue Church of God Missions Fund, P.O.
