Ray Von Wright, age 72, of 1112 Oakwood Acres Rd., Asheboro died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel Asheboro with Pastor Earl Lilly and Rev. Chris Maxey officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.Mr. Wright was a native of Randolph County and a U. S. Army veteran. He was a retired Sgt. with the N. C. Department of Corrections. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Wright; daughter, Becky Hill of Asheboro; sons, Donald Ray Wright, Boyd H. Linder, Boyce B. Linder, Eddie D. Wright all of Asheboro, NC; 16 grandchildren;16 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Donald "Bobby" Wright, Sr. of Greensboro.The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
