Ray Thomas Dezern

Ray Thomas Dezern, age 81, of 514 Vision Dr., Asheboro died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr Dezern was born in Asheboro to Steve E. Montgomery and Lillie B. (Kirkman) Dezern. He was a Member of Ramseur Gospel Church and was retired from General Electric as a Maintenance Mechanic with 21 years service. He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Sarah(Joyce) Dezern ;two daughters: Linda D. Briggs of Asheboro, NC, Deborah L. Dezern - Rohr of Centreville, VA; one brother: Jerry H. Dezern of Hampton, VA; granddaughter, Dawn Richardson; step-grandchildren, Megan Rohr and Desta Pritchard, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild The family will receive friends Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Mike Moody and Ben Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
