Randall “Randy” Henley, age 54 of Thomasville, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Randy was born on February 23, 1969, in Randolph County to Billy Raye Henley and Agnes Faye Hyler Henley. Randy was a graduate of Asheboro High School and worked in the finishing department at Graphic Packaging International in Randleman for 11 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and poker with his friends. Randy had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was always cracking jokes and telling stories. Randy was also a huge Duke Basketball fan. He loved traveling to the beach with his family to see friends and to fish. Most of all, Randy was a loving husband, dad, and pawpaw to his grandchildren that he loved so much. To know Randy was to love him. In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Randall Henley; and brother, Jeffery Dean Henley.
Randy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Norma Jean Davis Henley of the home; Mindy Allen (Blade) of Randleman, Jamie Hughes (Taylor) of Randleman, Alec Trotter of the home; grandchildren, Christopher, Ronyx, Allison, Ryleigh, and Sypher; brothers, Wayne Henley (Kelly) of Greensboro, Benny Henley (Janet) of Cedar Falls, Chris Kearns (Tara) of Hillsville, George Speight (Judy) of Ramseur; sisters, Jeannie Potts of Asheboro, Rhonda Suggs Ruiz (Steve) of Loveland, CO, Susan Suggs Gerjits (Terry) of Oakdale, CA; and many nieces, nephews and so many friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St. Randleman, NC 27317. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 401 W. Holly Hill Rd., Thomasville, NC 27360.
