Randall Martin "Randy" Chappell

Randall "Randy" Martin Chappell, age 60, of Asheboro died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home. Mr. Chappell was born January 16, 1957 in Randolph County to the late Steve and Edith Chappell. He was a graduate of Randleman High School and a member of Midway Wesleyan Church. Randy was formerly employed with Richard Petty Motorsports, Holiday Tours and Eveready. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beverly Pritchard Chappell; daughter, Stephanie Tucker and husband Jason Tucker; son, Chris Chappell and wife Jessica Chappell; 10 grandchildren, Julia Tucker, Dakota Tucker, Kaylin Johnston, Chrystian Johnston, Crystal Tucker, Jason Tucker, Jr., Jennifer Tucker, Christopher Wood, Adam Long, Dixie Long; 1 great grandchild, Lydia Tucker; and sister, Kathy Bassett. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
