Rachel Lena Overman

Rachel Lena Overman, age 95, of Franklinville died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Overman was born December 6, 1915 in Staley, NC the daughter of Shellie S. Overman and Cora I. Wright Overman. She had retired from Randolph Mills and was of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Etta Pugh and Evelyn Bowman. She is survived by one sister: Maxine Kidd of Asheboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews among them Linda Hicks of Ramseur, NC and Joyce Avery of Virginia Beach, VA The family will receive friends at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave, Asheboro, NC on Tuesday March1, 2011 from 1 to 2 PM. The graveside funeral will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2:30PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 4305 US Highway 49 North, Liberty with Rev. Charles A. Lindquist Jr. and Rev.
