Rachel Mason Miller

Mrs. Rachel Miller, 86, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 27 at Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, 2025 Ephesus Church Rd., Chapel Hill. Mrs. Miller was born July 23, 1929 in Farmer, NC to the late Viola and Albert Mason. She was one of seven children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and soul mate, David Miller, to whom she was married 36 years. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Florence Mason Lucas and her twin sister, Ruth Mason Bray along with 13 nieces and nephews who adored her. We feel extremely blessed to have known our Aunt Rachel and while we will miss her, we know that she is at peace.
