Rachel Holt

PLEASANT GARDEN - Rachel Stephens "Tootie" Holt, age 81, of Pleasant Garden died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Holt was born May 19, 1937 the daughter of Troy Houston and Wilma Duncan Stephens.Tootie was a native of Liberty, NC and a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1955. She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church and loved her church. Tootie was a homemaker and enjoyed keeping a clean house for her family and decorating. In her younger years, Tootie enjoyed playing tennis. She had a wonderful relationship with her K-9 companion, Sir Watford, aka - Wally. In addition to her parents, Tootie was preceded in death by her brothers: Billy Joe Stephens; James Earl Stephens; Bobby Stephens and sister: Betty Van Stephens

She is survived by her husband: John Dewey Holt and one son and his wife: John and Christie Holt of Pleasant Garden; and one granddaughter: Allyson Holt.

The Memorial Service will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Jamestown United Methodist Church, 403 E. Main Street, Jamestown with Rev. Jim Watford officiating. Ennichement will be in Jamestown UMC Columbarium, Jamestown.
