Polly Bristow Brown

Polly Bristow Brown, age 72, of 104 Brown Street, Troy died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Brown was born February 24, 1938 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Oscar and Rosa (Lee) Bristow. She was a member of Long Hill Baptist Church, a former sales clerk for Service Distributing Co. and a 1956 graduate of Troy High School. She is survived by one brother, Bill Bristow of Troy and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Bill and Nancy Bristow, 242 North Russell Street, Troy. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Long Hill Baptist Church, 637 Capelsie Road, Candor with Pastor Larry Beaver officiating. Burial will be in Long Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
