Phyllis Landy McCarty

Phyllis Landy McCarty, age 60, of 6168 Quail Hollow Dr., Pleasant Garden was called home to be with her Lord Friday, June 27, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. McCarty was a native of Loudon County, Va. and drove a school bus for Randleman High School. She will be remembered for her spunky personality and not only did she raise her own children but she opened her home to others as well. She looked after many children in the community. She is loved and will be missed. She is survived by her husband: Jimmy McCarty, four daughters: Kelly Myers, Brianna McCarty, both of the home, Belinda McCarty of Shantilly , VA and Misty McCarty of Billton, Va. Five sons: Jimbo L McCarty, of Winchester, Va., Troy McCarty, of Summerfield, NC, William McCarty, Cody McCarty, and Montana McCarty all of the home. 6 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 PM at Sheffield Cemetery.
