Phyllis Gillispie Lewellyn

Phyllis Miller Gillispie Lewellyn, age 73, of Asheboro went home to be with her Lord Saturday , November 17, 2012 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, she was employed for over thirty years with Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home as its Activities Director and was of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her husbands, Johnny Gillispie and R.J. Lewellyn, her parents Howard and Hazel Davis Miller, sisters Doris Dowd and Carlene Lamb, and brothers Max and Lloyd Miller. She is survived by her daughter: Laura Gillispie of Asheboro, NC, sister: Zelma Reeder of Randleman, NC, brother and his wife, Steve and Becky Miller of Asheboro, NC; sister and her husband, Dianne and Steve Hayes of Winston- Salem, NC and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday, November 20th at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Huldah Baptist Church Cemetery, Asheboro.
