Phillip Anthony Hudson

Phillip Anthony Hudson, age 61, of Asheboro passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Mr. Hudson was born in Arab, Alabama on February 28, 1956 to Desso and Doris Ford Hudson. He was a 1974 graduate of Asheboro High School and was employed with Georgia-Pacific. Phillip was a member of First Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Desso Hudson and brother, Steve Hudson. He is survived by his mother, Doris Ford Hudson of Asheboro, NC; and several family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Connie Weaver and M.A. Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 7:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date in the Arab City Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.
