Phillip Lee Bowers

Phillip Lee Bowers, age 88, of Asheboro died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Bowers was born in Randolph County on July 19, 1930 to Otis Neal and Sadie Velma Stonestreet Bowers. He was a US Army veteran. In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Spivey, Dorothy Aldridge, Inez Smith, Hobert Worth Mensick, Clarence Bowers, and Bronna M. Marsh.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Perkins Bowers; step-daughter, Carolyn Caulder of Asheboro; brother, O. N. Bowers of Randleman; sister, Opal Graves of Randleman,

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Burton King officiating. Burial will be in Midway Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Randleman.
