Peter Joseph Heerschap

Peter Joseph Heerschap, age 78, of 1482 Filler Rd., Asheboro died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at his home. Mr. Heerschap was born March 18, 1929 at Paterson, NJ the son of Peter Leo and Sarah (McNerney) Heerschap. He was retired from Walter Kidde as an Aerospace Technician. He was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a member of the Holy Name's Society. He is survived by his wife: Beatrice Moran Heerschap, three daughters: Judy Watson, Mary J. Heerschap, and Regina Heerschap all of Asheboro, NC and five sons: Michael J. Heerschap of Asheboro, NC, Peter N. Heerschap, Joseph Heerschap of Quakertown, PA, Mark L. Heerschap of Asheboro, NC, John Heerschap of Asheboro, NC; 16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren The family will receive friends Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral mass will be Monday, October 15, 2007 at 12:00 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 512 W. Wainman Av., Asheboro with Father Joseph Mack and Father Christopher Davis officiating.
