Percy Vernon Glenn, of 1831 Gold Hill Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves officiating. Entombment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.Mr. Glenn was born in Brunswick County, VA to Allen Glenn and Kate Cheely Glenn and was formerly employed as a Heating & Air installer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donzie Maness Glenn, and his siblings, Nathan, Roy, Annie Rose, Richard, Lee, Thorndike, Wille Lynn, Freddie, Vilola, Hazel, Walter Eddie, Mildred, T.J., and Jeff. He is survived by his special friend, Dorcas Kent of Asheboro, NC; step sons, Larry Cox and Thurman Tranmell, sister-in-law, Edith Mae Glenn of Warfield, VA, and many nieces and nephews.
