Penny Lynn Watson

Penny Lynn Watson, age 57, of Randleman died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at High Point Medical Center, High Point.

Penny was born in High Point on February 29, 1964 to I. Lawrence and Glenda Watson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Watson, grandmother, Almeda Beeson, and nephew, Ethan Frazier. She was a part of Faith Community Church. Penny was a giving and caring lady. She enjoyed working with children, cooking, and animals. Penny loved spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.

She is survived by two daughters: Brittany (Darian) Wampler of Sumter, SC and McKenzie (Evan) Aydelette of Jamestown, NC, father: I. Lawrence Watson of Asheboro; two sisters: Tammy (Randy) Hill of Randleman, NC and Tina (James) Coggins of Asheboro, NC, grandchildren: Jancen, Cohen, and Macklyn Wampler; nephews, Drew (Joy) Frazier; Dylan Hill; and niece, Brandi (Josh) Brooks; 6 great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 1:30-2:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor James Coggins officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, Tuesday, September 14 at noon.
