Peggy York Westmoreland

Peggy York Westmoreland, age 75, of Randleman, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Carolina House Of Asheboro. Mrs. Westmoreland was retired from Jockey International and was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Westmoreland; parents, Charlie and Ruth York; and brothers, Jimmy and Junior York. She is survived by one son, Eddie Westmoreland and wife Diane of Randleman, NC; one grandchild, Cindy Hardie and husband Billy of Randleman; one great grandchild, Austin Hardie;two sisters: Nancy Beck of Randleman, and Mary Ann Johnson of Franklinville, NC The family will receive friends Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Eddie and Diane Westmoreland, 3033 WOW Rd., Randleman. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Ernest Beck and Rev. Alvin Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Gina Rice and the staff of Carolina House and to Hospice of Randolph County.
