Peggy Horner Lloyd

Peggy Horner Lloyd, age 69, of Asheboro, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Lloyd was born July 24, 1947 in Asheboro, the daughter of Harvey Alison and Rowena Williamson Horner. Peggy was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and was retired from Dillard’s in Asheboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karleen Tutterow. She is survived by her husband, Ervin Lloyd; Daughter, Erica Blakely and her husband, Todd of Asheboro; Granddaughter, Julie Blakely of Asheboro; Brother, Dr. Andrew Horner and his wife, Tammie of Montrose, CO. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road, Asheboro with Rev. Dwight Ayers officiating.
