Peggy Bray Jones

Peggy Bray Jones, age 87, of 416 Dublin Rd., Asheboro died Monday, June 8, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Asheboro First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Mark C. Beane and Rev. A.J. Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.Mrs. Jones was a native of Randolph County and was retired from the Asheboro City School System. She was a member of Asheboro First Wesleyan Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence V. Jones, and her daughter-in-law, Marla Jones. Peggy was an avid cook and gardener, and kept up with current events. Her biggest joy was being a mother and grandmother.She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Rumble and her husband Shawn of Concord, NC; Priscilla Ragsdell and her husband Gary of High Point, NC; Sandra Webb and her husband Jerry of Oxford, MS; son, Larry Jones of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren, Brittany and Nicole Rumble, Ben Jones, April and Brian Ragsdell; Amy Yannelli and her husband Joe, Todd Webb; and great grandson, Joseph Yannelli.The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the church.Memorials may be made to Asheboro First Wesleyan Church, 915 Straight St., Asheboro, NC 27203 or Susan G.
