Peggy Ivey Hunt, age 72, of Randleman died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mrs. Hunt was born February 28, 1943 the daughter of Walter and Evelyn Davis Ivey. She was a native of St. Paul, NC. Peggy retired from Ivey's Trucking and Paving Company in Randleman. In addition to her parents Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Henry Lee Hunt and brother, David "Buddy" Ivey.
She is survived by her children: Gloria Cox and her husband Roy of Randleman, Tommy Darnell and his wife Marsha of Maryville, TN, Tammy Hayes of Randleman, Teresa Stephenson and her husband James Randall of Randleman, Patricia Craven and her husband Kelly of Ramseur, Christopher Sheppard and his wife Lea of Randleman; grandchildren: Kristain Brady Tanzola and her husband Daniel, Steven Parrish, Kyle Stephenson and his wife Michelle, Brittney Darnell, Kaitlyn Brady Murdock and her husband Britt, Jonathan Darnell, Holly Craven Deakins and her husband Alex, Kelsey Craven, and Haven Sheppard; great grandchildren: Daniel and Madilynn Tanzola, Brantlee Darnell, and Ryder Murdock; brother: Robert "Richard" Ivey of Randleman.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Teresa Stephenson, 4215 White Oak Dr., Randleman. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church, 405 Summit Ave., Asheboro, Asheboro, NC with Rev. Ed Burns, Rev. Jeff Freeman and Rev. Darrell Sauls officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
