Pearle Cole Moffitt Murray

Pearle Cole Moffitt Murray, age 86, of 834 Lee St., Asheboro died Monday, July 20, 2009 at her home.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 4:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Hale officiating. Entombment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.Mrs. Murray was a native of Randolph County, was retired from Bossong Hosiery after 42 years of service, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lester Moffitt and J.C. Murray, her parents, Carlie and Estelle Cole, and her brothers, Ervin, Houston, and Ferman Cole. Pearle loved her flowers, picture taking, and her family. She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Sellers and her husband Billy Sellers of Asheboro, NC, Mary Smith and her husband Arnold Smith of Asheboro, NC; step daughters, Ann Johnson and her husband Rev. Joe Johnson of Carthage, NC, Betty Hale and her husband Rev. Bill Hale of Yadkinville, NC, and Linda Murray of Yelm, WA; step son, J.C. Murray, Jr. of Yelm, WA; sisters-in-law, Ida Cole of Asheboro, NC, Bertie Cole of Asheboro, NC, and Ruby Bennett of Asheboro, NC; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home.The family would like to express thanks to Hospice of Randolph and a special thanks to her caregivers for the excellent care they provided during Pearle's illness.Memorials may be made to Center Cross Baptist Church, c/o Marlene Parker, 5293 New Hope Church Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205 or Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
