Pearl Nelson Walker

Pearl Nelson Walker, age 84, of New Salem Road, Randleman died Sunday, January 27, 2008. Mrs. Walker was a native of Kernersville, NC. She was retired from Commonwealth Hosiery and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Martha Martin Nelson; husband, E.V. Walker, Jr. and grandson, Jonathan Walker. She is survived by son and his wife Mickey O. and Sharon Walker of Randleman, NC. Daughter and her husband Patricia A. and Larry Pugh of Asheboro, NC. sisters: LuRay Jones of Greensboro, NC, and Betty J. Humble of Liberty, NC. brothers: James A. Nelson of Randleman, NC, and Billy V. Nelson of Mt. Holly, NC. Grandchildren, Jaime Walker; Lauren and her husband Josh Dyson; and Sherri Pugh; great grandchild, Carter Broome. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Mickey Walker, 211 Oak Lane, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Bernard Dougherty officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
