Pearl McCauley Spessert

Pearl E. McCauley Spessert, age 80, of Randleman died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Spessert was born August 2, 1939 in Wallace, WV the daughter of Jesse and Hazel Rita McCauley.  Pearl was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spoiling her pets. In addition to her parents, Pearl is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  

She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Richard Spessert, Sr. of the home; daughter, Tena Osborne and husband Earl J. of Bassett, VA; sons, Richard Spessert, Jr. of Randleman, Jody Spessert of Randleman and Robert Spessert and wife Jannette of Randleman; grandchildren, Ivy, Jessica, and Robin; great grandchildren, Joseph and Shamus; sister, Mary Lou Cross and husband Gary; and her special pets, Cat, Sweetpea and MeMe.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
