Pearl Dennis Parsons

Pearl Dennis Parsons, age 89, of 516 Wallace Ave. Apt 14B, Troy died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.Mrs. Parsons was born November 1, 1919 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Floyd and Flonnie Jewel (Morris) Dennis. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Parsons, six children, Robert Parsons, Garrett Parsons, Ralph Parsons, Jody Parsons, Ann Parsons Loftin and Elaine Vuncannon; grandson, Marty Vuncannon and great-granddaughter, Samantha Allen. She is survived by one daughter: Brenda P. "Jude" Sanders and husband, Arlie of Biscoe; three sons: Johnny Parsons and wife, Brenda of Candor, Rev. Toney Parsons and wife, Janie of New London, Douglas Parsons of Troy; two brothers: Bob Dennis and wife, Jessie of Troy, Jim Dennis and wife, Imogene of Asheboro; 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Johnny and Brenda Parsons, 2464 Pekin Rd., Candor. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 412 Bell Street, Troy with Rev. Lee Fish officiating. Burial will be in Wadeville Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt.
