Pearl Saladino Catalani

Pearl Saladino Catalani, age 89, of 1519 Arrowwood Road, Asheboro went home to be with her Lord Friday, July 2, 2010. A native of Rockford, IL she moved with her family to Asheboro in 1966. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and had retired from Klaussner Furniture after 28 years of service. In addition to her parents Andrew and Angelina Saladino, she is preceded in death by her son Louie Catalani. She is survived by her husband: Guido J. Catalani, daughter and her husband: Rose & Brad Hussey of Asheboro, NC and two sons: Mike and his wife Paula Catalani of Oakridge, NC, and Bill Catalani of Asheboro, NC, Grandson, Mike Moore of Asheboro, NC; Grandson, Michael Catalani of New York, NY; Granddaughter, Stephanie Catalani of Asheboro, NC; Grandson, Matthew Hussey of Asheboro, NC; Granddaughter, Andrea Hussey of Asheboro, NC; Granddaughter, Heather Hussey of Asheboro, NC; and Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Catalani of Richfield, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, July 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, July 6th at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Father Christopher Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Bettman and Sarah and to all the doctors and nurses at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
