Pauline Pugh Weatherly

Pauline Pugh Weatherly, age 96, of Pleasant Garden, died Monday, January 12, 2015. Mrs. Weatherly was born December 6, 1918 in Randolph County to Albert Clark and Agnes Routh Pugh. She was a graduate of Sumner High School and a member of Pleasant Garden United Methodist Church. Mrs. Weatherly was a retired clerk with Pleasant Garden Drug and a member of The Art of Living Group. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weatherly was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James William "Bill" Weatherly, sons, Jesse D., Jack Ferrell and John T. Weatherly, brothers, Fred, Leo and Worth Pugh, sisters, Mabel Foust, Mozelle Hinshaw and Thelma "Sallie" Chandler. She is survived by one daughter, Paula Ryan and husband Tommy of Pleasant Garden; son, Jim Weatherly and wife Dorothy of Pleasant Garden; grandchildren, Sandy Caudler and husband Legrand of Jacksonville, FL, Ken, Randy, Brad and Kim Weatherly all of Greensboro, Terri Cox and husband Nathan of Greensboro, Angela "Dee Dee" Evans and husband Greg of Greensboro, Kristen Sipe and husband Nate of High Point, Amy Ryan of Wilmington; great grandchildren, Matthew Caulder, Keely Smith, Kirsten Bryant, Katie Whicker, Colby Weatherly, Kayla Weatherly, Dawson Whitt, Lacey Evans, Anna Whitt, Allie Evans, Ellie Sipe; great great grandchild, McKenzie Fender; special family members, Diane Quakenbush, Bette Weatherly, Karon Monnett and special friend, Eddie Montgomery. Mrs. Weatherly will lie in state Friday, January 16, 2015 from 9:00 am-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The family will receive friends Friday, January 16, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Forbis-Dick Funeral Home, 4601 Pleasant Garden Rd., Pleasant Garden. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Garden United Methodist Church, 4834 Pleasant Garden Rd., Pleasant Garden with Rev. Mark Weekley and Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Burial will be in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.
