Pauline Thompson Ritter

Pauline Thompson Ritter, age 85, of Autumn Care Of Biscoe, formerly of Troy, NC, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC. Mrs. Ritter was born July 25, 1922 at Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of the late George A. and the late Glenna (Warner) Thompson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Belks, Inc. and a charter member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Ritter, Sr. and son Woody Ritter. She is survived by one daughter: Marie Ritter Lunsford of Mt. Gilead; one son: Roger Ritter of Mt. Gilead; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh- Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Marie Ritter Lunsford, 284 Myrtlewood Dr., Mt. Gilead. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 822 NC Hwy 109N, Troy with Rev. William Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, S. Main St., Troy.
