Pauline Shelton Reavis

Margaret Pauline Shelton Reavis, age 92, of 1964 Talmer Wright Rd., Asheboro died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Rev. Aaron Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church. Mrs. Reavis was born June 5, 1915 in Alamance County, the daughter of the late Warren Samuel Shelton and Annie Whitsell Shelton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Scott Reavis, son, James S. Reavis, grandsons, Steve Perkins and Danny Wright, brothers, Woodrow Shelton, Jim Shelton, Luther Shelton, and sisters, Josephine Mitchell, Mable Lee, Grace Crumpton, and Alma Wrenn. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret R. Wright of Asheboro, NC, and Jackie Ricucci of Mt. Dora, FL; 7 grandchildren, Jim, Teresa, Mike, Virginia, Amy, Connie and David; 5 great grandchildren, Danille, Dillon, Ricky, Nicholas and Mallory; sister, Alice Loy of Elon, NC and daughter-in-law, Gail Reavis. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
