Pauline Luther Hodgin, age 89, of 230 E. Presnell St., Asheboro died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.Mrs. Hodgin grew up in the Farmer area and had worked in several cafeterias in the Asheboro City School System. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, basket weaving, gardening, and making butter mints. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Garner and her husband Joe of Asheboro, NC; sons, Jim Hodgin and his wife Nancy of Chapel Hill, NC, Thomas "Tommy" Hodgin and his wife Ginny of Graham, NC; grandchildren, Sheryl Thompson of Chapel Hill, NC, Marty Lile of Columbia, MO, Whit Hodgin of Tarboro, NC, Randall Purvis of Asheboro, NC, Whitney Purvis of Asheboro, NC, and 4 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
