Pauline Lawson Gardner

Pauline Lawson Gardner, age 94, of Asheboro died Friday, May 16, 2008 at Universal Health Care of Ramseur, NC. Mrs. Gardner was born January 27, 1914 in Randolph County, NC the daughter of James David Lawson and Ellie Moran Lawson. Mrs. Gardner was a charter member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She retired from Burlington/ Klopman Mills after 43 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon C. Gardner; daughter, Jeanette Gardner; 3 sisters and 9 brothers. She is survived by one son: James C (Jim) Gardner of Randleman, NC; grandchildren: James Destry Gardner and Anita Dawn Gardner; step grandchildren: Cary Slack and Teresa Blanton; great grandchildren: Brody James Gardner and Kaden Lambe Gardner; step great grandchild, Casey Slack The family will receive friends Monday, May 19, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Rex Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, Coleridge.
