Pauline Hancock Freeman

Pauline Hancock Freeman, age 86, formerly of 422 Chestnut St., Asheboro died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Cross Road Retirement Community, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy R. Kidd Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Freeman was a native of Hoke County, NC and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with Woolworth, Bossong Hosiery, and Central Bakery. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, George Cleveland and Sarah Emmaline Spivey Hancock, her husband, Lloyd Freeman, her son, Michael H. Freeman, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Glenda Freeman of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter, Katherine "Katie" Freeman of Asheboro, NC; niece & caregivers, Elaine and Louis Ragsdale of Asheboro, NC, niece, Dolores Miller and her husband, Johnny of Asheboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 12:00 noon-1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
