Randleman - Pauline Graham "Polly" Carmac, age 95, of Badin Lake, NC, formerly of Asheboro, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Polly was born December 13, 1920 in Ellerbe, NC the daughter of Miles Winston and Jewell Allred Graham. She is preceded in death by her husband, Condon Carmac and her sister, Mary Graham Hudson in addition to her parents.
Pauline was the Valedictorian of the 1936 Class of Ellerbe High School and remained a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe. She was faithful to First Wesleyan Church of Randleman, since the 1970's. She had quite the green thumb as evidenced by her beautiful flowers. She was also a wonderful cook and was well known for her cakes; in particular, her German Chocolate cake and fresh coconut cake. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband: Patricia "Patty" and William "Bill" Tingen of Badin Lake, NC
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church, 125 Tabernacle St., Randleman with Rev. Don Hurlburt and Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
