Paulette Joyce

Ramona Paulette Webb Joyce, age 72, of Asheboro died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Randolph Hospital. Mrs. Joyce was born July 11, 1942 in Montgomery County to Paul and Cora Webb. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she served in various positions including playing the piano. Mrs. Joyce was a humble, nurturing and patient lady who was beloved and admired by her family. She enjoyed working in her yard and vegetable garden. She is remembered by her family as a warm and caring mother, a devout Christian lady who loved God, and a faithful and devoted wife to her husband of 39 years. In addtion to her parents, Mrs. Joyce was preceded in death by her stepson, David Joyce; her brother, Garrett Webb and her sister, Patricia Tedder. She is survived by her husband, Bill Joyce; daughters, Kathy Farmer and husband Clifford of Thomasville; Gwen McVey of Massunutten, VA; Barbie Schreiber and husband Larry of Seagrove; stepdaughters Jan Prevette and husband O. C. of Franklin; Susie Hiner and husband Scott of Greensboro and a stepson, Mark Joyce of Fernadina Beach, Florida and a brother, Jerry Webb and wife Sand of Oxford, Mississippi. She had 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church, 528 Old Liberty Road, Asheboro with Rev. Larry Stines officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall and other times at her home. The family respectfully request no flowers be sent and that donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in memory of Paulette. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is assisting the family.
